This drink will cure what ails you. I promise!! The housemade sangrita is a Copita specialty. It's so packed with fresh vegetables that we call it "V-9".
Serves 1
Kosher salt1 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice 2 ounces sangrita 1 12-oz bottle of Mexican beer
SANGRITA (AKA "V-9") ½ chile ancho, toasted and seeds removed ½ chile de arbol, toasted 3 ounces freshly squeezed orange juice 2 ounces freshly squeezed lime juice 1 ounces freshly squeezed grapefruit juice 3 ounces fresh celery juice 3 counces fresh carrot juice 4 ounces tomato juice ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper 1 tablespoon yellow onion Kosher salt to taste
Place the chile ancho and the chile de arbol in a bowl and cover with hot water. Let sit for 10 minutes. Strain and place in the blender with the remaining ingredients. Blend on high speed until smooth, 1 minute.
